Week 1 checklist

Setup (before Day 1)

  1. Separate Atom progress views for each child.
  2. 11-year-old: Atom CAT4 baseline; note the weakest battery.
  3. 5-year-old: blocks, shape cards, tangrams or household odd-one-out.
  4. Agree four weekday slots of 60–75 minutes.
  5. Name this week’s free reasoning day for each child.

11-year-old — four sessions

  1. Session 1: 60–75 min. Baseline review + weakest battery. End with 5–8 harder stretch questions. Voice or WhatsApp note.
  2. Session 2: 60–75 min. About 70% weakest battery, 30% mixed. Light stretch (~10%). Note.
  3. Session 3: 60–75 min. Same mix. One short timed mini-section (10–12 min) on the weak battery. Note.
  4. Session 4: 60–75 min. Mixed review + a bit more stretch. Note.

Weekend: 30–45 min mixed review. Sunday (or another evening): parent sets Week 2 focus.

5-year-old — 2 or 3 short sessions

Physical first, then at most 15–20 min digital play. Praise effort. No formal scores this week.
